On the 11th March 2022, the year 8 boys' rugby team competed in the North Walsham Rugby Club Schools Festival.
In the tournament we played four games in total. Our first game started with a bang against Stalham; we we won by 7 tries to 2. After that we had a little break then we played Acle. In September 2021 we drew 2-2 with Acle, but this time we showed no mercy and won 7-2.
After that we played Hellesdon who held us to an extremely tight game of 5 tries all. Straight after that we played our final game against Jane Austin...which we won 6-2! Overall, it was a fantastic performance.
It was really clear that everyone on the team has improved massively, because we played the same teams last September and this time we were more successful in our match play.
Our player of the tournament for his match-winning tries and try-saving tackles was Kaiden.
I play at scrum half, where I try and be as creative as possible trying to make chances for my team. We are all so lucky to have an amazing coach, Mr Keats, and I can't wait to see what we achieve in the future together.
