On May 4th 2022 Aylsham Parish Church are holding a celebration for Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee. As part of the celebrations, students will be reading poems themed around Silver, Gold, Diamond and Platinum, to mark 25, 50, 60 and 70 years of her reign.
The poems below are by students in years seven, eight and nine. They have been selected to be shared on the evening in a small pamphlet. Within this group are our four winners, too.
Come along to the celebration on 4th June from 6pm to hear the winners reading their poems aloud for the community.
