All the bright places has a two person perspective , a boy and a girl. Both have traumatic pasts and learn to live off of one another. “A girl learned to live from a boy who wants to die” The book includes triggering topics such as suicide and mental disorders. ATBP is a heart wrenching book, where two young teens meet on the top of a bell tower they become friends but a mutual connection confirms it’s more than a friendship. They grow with each other and life becomes a brighter place for them for a while. This book is crushingly relatable and faces important topics such as mental health for teens. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry but mostly you learn about an unpredictable highschool relationship blossom into something beautiful.
