TRY LISTENING TO: THE ARCTIC MONKEYS
Advice from Summer Woolcock.
I enjoy listening to The Arctic Monkeys a lot. I find their music very different compared to the music on the radio. My favourite song of theirs is Why’d You Only Call Me When You're High. Honestly, I think this song is great because it has a catchy tune with a funky bass. It's quite a slow song that has a dramatic break down towards the end at the end when it gets more excitable and out there. The chorus is very catchy in my opinion.
I would recommend The Arctic Monkeys to anyone who loves music. Their genre is rock. The members of the band met in 2002 they decided to start a band with instruments they all got for Christmas. Alex the vocalist and main guitarist lives in Sheffield he was 16 or 17 when the band was made. Jamie he’s the second guitarist of the band. Next Matt who is on the drums. Last Andy Nicholson he is the bassist. It is cool to think they all were friends who lived in Sheffield then started a band that became famous worldwide. Within the first four years they were well known all over the whole of the UK also most of Europe they launched their first album. Andy was sick and tired of it so he decided to quit the band. He was soon replaced by Nick O’Malley.
