The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
The song of Achilles is a queer love story set in the Greek Heroic Age. It is told from Patroclus’ perspective as he and Achilles form a beautiful relationship together. Personally this is one of my all time favourite books, not only does it have Lgbtqia+ representation the story is beautifully written. It depicts two boys growing up together and developing a deeper relationship than they could have thought. This book dips into intriguing glimpses of Greek mythology, specifically the battle of Troy. Overall The song of Achilles is a heartbreaking tale of innocence and kindness as well as the small lessons in each new phase.
